It’s been 5 years since we last cruised out of New York so we were excited to head back to Pier 88 and leave the city by shop again. As Manhattanites, this departure is always extra easy for us - we finished packing in the morning, hopped on a taxi and headed cross-town to get onboard. Check in took a lot longer than expected so once on the ship, we had a late lunch to the backdrop of the city skyline and eventually departed on that all too familiar route along the Hudson River, passing by Lady Liberty. <P>
